Salford and India
At the University of Salford, we have a long history of welcoming international students from all around the world. India is no exception – our applications from India represent approximately 25% of the total number of international applications we receive. On campus, our Indian Student Society organises cultural and social events for students and staff who have an interest in India.
Manchester and Salford are incredibly diverse cities. South Asian culture is represented well across this region - speciality shops, restaurants, places of worship and cultural events can be found easily across Manchester and Salford.
Our courses are delivered with your future employability in mind. We work closely with business leaders to development a curriculum that ensures our graduates have the skills that employers need.
Our scholarship programs are worth up to £5,000. Over the past two years, we have awarded more than £1.5 million in international scholarships to students from across the world.
When you’re not studying you can enjoy some of the world’s most famous sporting attractions. Manchester is home to two of the world’s biggest football clubs, Manchester United and Manchester City. Cricket fans can watch the sport at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, home to Lancashire Cricket Club and many international test matches.
