Our international graduates are now successfully working across the world, contributing to their communities and applying their knowledge and experience to make a positive impact. Our School of Computing, Science and Engineering offers a limited number of high-value scholarships to applicants across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Petroleum and Gas Master's International Excellence Scholarship
Architecture International Excellence Scholarship
To celebrate our global achievement in architecture teaching, we offer high-value scholarships to applicants of MArch Architecture, BSc (Hons) Architecture, BSc (Hons) Architectural Design and Technology, BSc (Hons) Architectural Engineering, and BSc (Hons) Interior Architecture.
Salford Business School Postgraduate International Excellence Scholarship
We offer a number of scholarships for high achieving postgraduate applicants to Salford Business School, who have a strong record of academic achievement.

School of Built Environment Accelerated Degree Scholarships

In partnership with ICETEX, we are able to offer six scholarships to students from Colombia in selected postgraduate taught programmes.

South-East Asia scholarships
Scholarships are available to high-achieving students from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar.
PhD scholarships for China for the School of Arts and Media
To celebrate our creative work in China, our School of Arts and Media offers a scholarship at PhD level.
South Asia scholarships
Our South Asia Excellence Scholarships are available to high achieving students from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
MENA Scholarships (Jordan, Egypt and Turkey)
Scholarships are available to high achieving students from Jordan, Egypt and Turkey, based on academic merit.
Chevening is the UK Government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders.
We are are an owner-member of the Northern Consortium of UK universities (NCUK). NCUK delivers pathway programmes that lead to degrees at member universities. To support students who progress from NCUK, we offer a number of high value scholarships to outstanding applicants for undergraduate or master's programmes.
CSCSE HND scholarships
We have a long-standing partnership with the Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE). Scholarships are available for applicants from CSCSE who have studied the SQA HND and have achieved AB/AAB plus IELTS 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in all bands).
Commonwealth Scholarships enable talented and motivated students to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development.
These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and offered through the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC).

Please note, you may apply for the loyalty discount if you have already been awarded a scholarship, however, in line with our terms and conditions, you can only receive one scholarship or discount (the one with the highest value).
Prompt payment discount
If you pay your fees in full, either on before or at enrolment, you can receive a prompt payment discount of 3%. This is applied to the net fee remaining after any scholarship has been applied.

Before applying for an international scholarship, please read our terms and conditions. Unless specified, our international scholarships are available to full-time, on-campus, self-funded students who have been assessed as international students for fee purposes and are applying to the first year of study for an undergraduate bachelor’s or postgraduate taught master’s programme.
