During your studies, you'll receive guest lectures and work on live projects, some of which are taking place in our facilities. We'll also encourage you include a placement year during your studies so you can gain vital real-world experience - and exciting opportunities.  One student recently spent the start of her placement working on the sound design at Glastonbury!

In becoming a leading centres for audio, visuals and acoustics teaching and research, we've established an unrivalled suite of laboratories and studios. Key features at our Peel Park campus include dedicated listening rooms, a transmission suite, reverberation chambers and editing suites. Star of the show is our full Anechoic Chamber - one of the quietest spaces in the world. 

Over at our MediaCityUK campus, you'll find even equipment and software, much of which is standard in any post-production house in the UK. Providing space for professional editors to collaborate with students, editing suites include industry finishing software Smoke, award-winning compositing software Nuke and colour finishing tool Da Vinci Resolve.
