An Update On Covid-19

We are following the Government and Public Health England’s guidance on coronavirus closely, and as this is an ever-changing situation, we cannot currently say with certainty whether all of our upcoming events will be going ahead as scheduled.

You can still register your interest for our Postgraduate Open Day below. However, if the guidance changes we may need to change our events to reflect this. We will keep you updated as quickly as we can.

Once you have booked or registered your interest in any of our events we will email you with updates, so please keep a close eye on your emails.

I gained employment before I had even graduated.

Gareth Corner

MSc Quantity Surveying

"I gained employment before I had even graduated. During my interview I was told that I stood out because I had a level of understanding and knowledge that the company were looking for, which has all come from this course."

Three good reasons to choose us...

1.

Be unbeatable. Many of our students have secured placements in impressive companies like IBM, Nissan and Umbro. Choose a postgraduate course at the University of Salford and get opportunities to gain industry experience while you study.

2.

Be unexpected. Want to change direction? Studying at postgraduate level can help. We offer nearly 50 master’s courses for students with a good first degree in any subject, so you don’t need to have previously studied in a related area to apply.

3.

Be undaunted. If you’ve got a business idea we’ll support you to develop it. So far we’ve awarded £40,000 of funding to Launch Entrepreneurs, have supported 600 students with enterprise training, and have helped 65 students to start their own business.

Cutting edge facilities

In the last five years we've invested £160 million in facilities that mirror what you'll find in industry.

How do I get here?

We're located a short distance from the centre of Manchester, so it's easy to get here wherever you're travelling from. For directions by train, bus, tram, car or air, please see our how to find us page.

If you're planning on visiting our MediaCityUK campus, you can catch a free 15 minute shuttle bus from main campus.

Parking is free for event visitors on main campus (see our campus map for car parking locations) however, because we don't have a car park at MediaCityUK, you will either need to pay to park here or you can park on main campus and catch the free shuttle bus to MediaCityUK.

Closer to the event, we'll let you know where to check in and suggest the best car park for those who are driving.

Where can I download a campus map?

A couple of weeks before the Postgraduate Open Day we’ll email you with a link to download our campus map. We'll also let you know which check in desk is closest to your preferred subject sessions.
