Biography
I gained a Laure Degree in Work and Organisational Psychology at the Universita' degli Studi di Padova (Italy) and a PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Sussex (UK). Since January 2012, I have been working at the University of Salford, where I lead the only MSc in Media Psychology in the UK, working with my colleague Dr Adam Galpin.
My research focuses mainly on media communication, journalism and new media and their role in shaping (and being shaped by) political and social issues. I have a keen interest in applying media psychology to promoting action aimed at minimising the impact of climate change and addressing the climate emergency.
