I hold a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and a PhD from the University of Manchester. I teach at levels 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 in a number of subject areas, including Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences within the School of Science, Engineering and Environment. I have more than 30-years’ experience in cancer research and glycobiology and have a diverse portfolio of research publications.
I am currently the scientific director of Kidscan, which is a children’s cancer research charity that operates from the University of Salford.
