Salford and Turkey

Students in a workshop at the University of Salford

At the University of Salford, we welcome students from all over the world, and Turkish students have been coming to study with us for many years.

Both Salford and Manchester are very diverse cities. There is a large Turkish community in and around Greater Manchester, making it easy to find great restaurants, takeaways and shops selling Turkish food. There are also a number of mosques within easy reach of our campus.

Turkish students come to the University of Salford to study a wide range of subjects, including business and management, finance, computing, science, engineering and health sciences.

We have a good network of approved agents representing us in Turkey, who can assist you with your application to the University of Salford

Salford is very easy to reach from Turkey. Turkish Airlines fly direct from Istanbul to Manchester International Airport several times a week. Our campus is within easy reach of Manchester International Airport by taxi or public transport.

The Greater Manchester area is a great place to live. Being one of the largest student cities in Europe, you’ll never be short of something interesting to see and do here. There’s a brilliant nightlife scene, including restaurants, bars, cinemas, live music and theatre venues. You can also see two of the world’s most famous football teams: Manchester United and Manchester City.

As one of our students, you don't just become a member of a student body, you will join our community. You will be taught by experts in their field who pride themselves on their links with industry. We look forward to welcoming you to the University of Salford.
