This scholarship is worth £3,000.
If you are an undergraduate applicant, you must achieve A level grades ABB or equivalent. Equivalent qualifications include:
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE): Standard XII at 75%
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE): Standard XII at 75%
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education: Standard XII at 65%
If you have qualifications from another exam board and are applying for an undergraduate course in our School of Health and Society, you require 80% or higher in Standard XII. For courses in all other schools, you require 75% or higher in Standard XII.
If you are a postgraduate applicant, you must achieve a minimum of a second class upper degree and meet the conditions of your offer by the admissions deadline. The equivalent is a bachelor's degree at 60% or higher, alternatively you must achieve a 6.5 cumulative grade point average, depending on the marking scheme.
How to apply
There is no separate application process for this scholarship. You will be assessed when you apply for your chosen programme of study. If you are successfully offered this scholarship, to receive the funding you must accept your offer of admission and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline specified.
Terms and conditions
You may apply for this scholarship if you have already been awarded a different scholarship. However, in line with our terms and conditions, you can only receive one scholarship - the one with the highest value.
