At the University of Salford, our law Clearing courses are recognised by the Bar Standards Board, meaning your studies will satisfy the requirements of the legal professional bodies for the award of a law degree. Extracurricular activities, like mooting (a mock trial) and trips, are organised by our student-led Law Society. These additional activities will complement your studies and enhance your experience during your time at Salford.

Through initiatives like the SILKS Law Clinics and BASS scheme (in partnership with Salford Citizens Advice), you will have the chance to offer support to people with legal problems in the region, enabling you to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to real-life situations and provide help for vulnerable people in the community.
